Every call scored by SAGARIS on a published rubric
Six dimensions, weighted, adding up to one hundred. Both thresholds that turn a score into a verdict are right here. Your manager can see where a call lost its points and coach the rep on that exact thing the same day.

The composite, in full
points, summing to 100
- Talk balance25
- Discovery depth20
- Objection handling20
- Monologue control15
- Filler discipline10
- Opener strength10
Two thresholds decide the verdict, and both are on this page. You can read any score, see the band it landed in, and know exactly why.
What is behind the number
Guidance, not a measured target. Competitor-derived heuristic with no peer-reviewed basis, not yet calibrated against SAGARIS outcomes.
When the call ends
The call ends and the write-up is already done.
The second a call ends, seven steps turn it into a record. You get a summary, a disposition, a CRM stage, a drafted follow-up, a reschedule decision, an invite and the qualification signals. Four of them land on their own. Three wait for your nod, so nothing reaches a prospect unless you send it.
The post-call pipeline, in order
per completed call
- 1Call summary
Topics, objections, interests and next steps, structured from the transcript.
- 2Disposition
The call is classified, and the classification drives everything below it.
- 3CRM stage
The contact's canonical stage is projected from what the call actually was.
- 4Follow-up emailWaits for you
Drafted from the recap in step one. There is no send path in the pipeline.
- 5Sequence reschedule
The recovery action is decided, and an opt-out ends the sequence instead.
- 6Calendar inviteWaits for you
Composed when a meeting was booked, and only when one was.
- 7BANT signalsWaits for you
Extracted onto the lead as a suggestion the rep confirms, never as fact.
Every step is fail-soft. If one step cannot run it says so on the record, and the other six still finish. You keep the write-up either way.
Eight named objections it recognises
Objection handling is twenty of the hundred points. The classifier names what it actually heard instead of scoring a feeling, so you can search your calls for every price objection this quarter. A ninth bucket, unknown, catches anything it will not guess at, which keeps your coaching notes clean.

Why this is different
We own the phone system, so consent is a gate and not a checkbox.
We are the telephony. An Asterisk PBX we run on our own trunk places and receives your calls. That puts the consent decision in the moment before recording starts, which is the only moment where it can actually stop a recording being made. Your reps get the coaching data and your legal team gets a call path that behaves.
Where recording needs consent first
one cell per US area code
145 / 372
Area codes where recording cannot start until consent is captured on the call.
227 / 372
Area codes where the statute allows one party to consent.
14 all-party states, plus Vermont held as unresolved rather than assumed permissive. The map is generated from the NANPA registry with the file date and the checksum of that file pinned in the source.
And when it does not know
A number the registry cannot place resolves to no jurisdiction, and no jurisdiction is treated as consent required. The gate handles the unfamiliar case the careful way, every time, without anyone on your team having to think about it.
The gate sits above the recorder
The jurisdiction check runs before recording is armed on the channel, not after the audio exists. That is possible because the box taking the call is ours. You end up with a clean library of calls, recorded the careful way from the start.
The unknown case fails closed
An area code the registry does not carry resolves to no jurisdiction, and no jurisdiction is treated as consent required. Vermont sits in the same bucket by choice. Your team never has to memorise a state map before dialling.
One system, one record
The call, the score and the contact record are the same system, so nothing is exported and no second vendor ends up holding your customers' voices. The score is attached to the record it was made from, which is also the only place it means anything.

What this connects to
- AI CoachThe same scored call, turned into per-rep coaching over time.
- AI dialerWe record the calls we place, which is why the transcript exists at all.
- Sales enablementThe battlecard that opens mid-call when a competitor is named.
- Note taker accuracyWhat an accuracy percentage measures, before you score anything from the transcript.
- Best sales engagement platforms, vendor by vendorThe wider category recording and coaching tools are bought inside, surveyed from each vendor's own pages.
The questions buyers actually ask.
- MOST ASKED
Every workspace scores calls the same six ways, and we publish the weight on each so you can see what a number means. Talk balance, discovery, objection handling, monologue length, filler words and the opener. One rubric across the whole team is what makes the scores comparable. A manager can rank a week of calls and coach from it instead of arguing about the scale.
So a score is arguable. When a rep asks why a call came out at 62, a manager can point at the six inputs. Each one carries a published weight, so there is no black box in the way. The numbers are ours and they are the same for every customer, drawn from how this category scores calls. Treat the score as a style guide and coach from the transcript underneath it.
Calling comes with the platform, so there is nothing to wire up. We place and receive calls on our own phone system, which is what lets the consent gate refuse to record before a second is captured. Numbers, recording, transcription and scoring are one thing to buy and one thing to support. You can port your existing numbers across.
A person marks them. During or after the call a reviewer flags the moment and adds a note, and it lands in the clip library for the team. Because a human chose it, the clip is worth watching. The best call of the week becomes team tape instead of a folder nobody opens. Everything else stays in the full transcript on the record.
It handles that for you, call by call. In 145 of the 372 in-service US area codes, recording cannot start until consent is captured on that call. The gate enforces that before any audio is kept. The map is generated from the NANPA registry, with the file date and its checksum pinned in the source. A number the registry cannot place is treated as consent required. Transcripts sit behind the same gate as the audio.
Seven steps run, and four of them finish on their own. The call is summarised, and the qualification signals land on the lead as a suggestion your rep confirms. A follow-up email is drafted from what was actually said, and the calendar invite is composed. Both wait for your rep. Nothing leaves your workspace unless a person sends it. That is how the code is built, not a setting somebody could switch on by accident.
Retention is written into your contract and your data processing addendum, where it is binding on us rather than printed on a marketing page. Ask on the call and you get it in writing. Recordings and transcripts sit behind the same consent gate and the same access controls, so one rule covers both.
Same score, different job. This page is about the conversation itself: what may be captured, what gets extracted, and what happens to the call once it ends. The AI Coach page is about the rep, which is where ramp over time, the moments a reviewer files, and the feedback loop after each call live. If your question is how a rep gets better, start there.
Here the calling, the recording, the transcription and the score are one system on one record at one seat price, rather than a review layer bought on top of a phone system you already pay for. The weights behind the score are published on this page, which is the part most of this category does not do. Our Gong alternatives page compares the two in full, reading every Gong fact at source with its date, and our Clari and Salesloft page does the same for the merged revenue platform.
Bring us a real call. Watch it get scored.
Bring a call to a demo and we will score it in front of you. You will see which dimension lost the points, what that dimension was worth, and which band the total landed in. You will see how the rubric is built on the same screen. Walk out with a number and the exact rubric behind it, so you can see where every point was won or lost.
